the last day of my tokyo home stay was my grandma’s birthday. she turned 90.
i bought a disposable camera and asked her to take pictures of whatever she liked and also me.
i don’t think she ever photographed many times in her life. it was always grandfather’s little brother who was really into photography took a lot of pictures. he even built a dark room in their house.

i showed some of my zines and told her we were going to make something like this, you and me. that is going to be a belated birthday present for her.
she kind of understood and kept shooting and finished her roll in 2 hours.
