I won free tickets from WFMU last year around my birthday to see the feelies at maxwell. erick wrenn contacted me after seeing my post on facebook and offered me to shoot the band for ‘sup magazine. they had been one of my favorite bands for years. and luckily i’ve got 30 minutes of luxury time to hang out with all the members and photographed them near the venue. they were really really nice and genuine. i enjoyed every single moment with them. and the show was so great.
later on the band asked me to use one of my photos for their new album and we made a deal (the real record deal). they made a beautiful record sleeve for lp and cd.
i am so grateful that my favorite band used my image for their art work. music always nurtures my soul and balances my body.
the record finally arrive to my shelf and i am so looking forward to seeing their concert on may 13th.

yuko and i used to live together in greenpoint. the next block was called leonard street. we kept calling it le-o-nardo street until patric corrected us.
