i read in the magazine my friend kiki said she’s been using an organic soup and vinegar for washing and rinsing her hair for 6 years and her hair got softer and healthier. i was so fascinated by the idea and started trying a vinegar rinse.

i did more research now and found that on internet

“vinegar removes scaly build-up and residue from hair shafts and closes the cuticles. since the vinegar restores natural pH it also helps prevent an itchy scalp. as your hair is drying you will smell vinegar, but once your hair dries, no smell. i was skeptical at first–but this really works!”

i washed 5 times already. my hair is like yoko ono’s now but feels better. i will make a bottle with essential oil and herbs.

i had a 15 minutes of happy intense sleep tonight and woke up and couldn’t fall asleep forever. i gave up and had a breakfast.
now the sun is rising and i feel the warmth of this world from the window.

it is going to be really hot again today.
i wish i could ride to the beach.
i have to work but that’s ok.

it’s 7am. should i go swimming at y now? that would be so cool.

on my way back home from the coffee shop in bed-stuy after meeging my beautiful cousin amy,i was riding back home and passing by this barbar shop. the early day of spring. i thought twice and u-tuened and went inside. there were many crazy african masks on the wall.
i asked the owner if i could take pictures. he said yes. and i asked him if he could give me a haircut.
i used to go to a barbar shop when i was really small.
he said no. he didn’t wanna cut my long hair.
ok. i won’t cut my hair forever.
